This November, I’ll be flying to Canada with Trish and Izzy for something I’ve been quietly preparing for, my first solo acoustic tour.
The Velvet Tour is not just a series of shows. It’s a journey back to where everything began. Just me, my guitar, and the people who’ve been part of my story all these years. No big stage, no flashing lights. Just the songs, the stories, and the moments that shaped them.
For years, I’ve stood on stages surrounded by the sound of a full band, hearing thousands of voices sing along. It’s been beautiful, and I’m forever grateful for that. But this time, I wanted to bring the music closer. I wanted to get back to the days I was playing alone in an empty venue, singing songs no one had heard yet, and playing them like it was the last time.
This tour will feature reimagined versions of songs from December Avenue, unreleased pieces, and new music from Above Velvet Air, a project born from a more personal space in my life. It’s about fatherhood, rediscovering meaning, and the quiet beauty of starting again.
I’ll be sharing stories I’ve carried from years of touring, of meeting new faces, and finding my new purpose in life. Each night is meant to feel like a conversation, raw, vulnerable, and real.
